American Sign Language I

In this course, emphasis will be on developing basic conversational skills: students will engage in receptive and expressive language activities, build their sign vocabulary, and learn more about grammatical structure.  Information on cultural values and the rules of behavior in the deaf community will also be included.  Limit: 16 

Date:  Mon., Feb. 27 to May 7 (no class 4/16)
Time:  6:00-8:00 PM  (20 hrs.)

American Sign Language II

This is a continuation of ASL I, furthering the student’s exposure to ASL and deaf culture. More vocabulary building, receptive and expressive language activities, and further exploration of grammatical structure are included.  Limit: 16
