Homebrewing Basics

Description

Discover the fun and rewarding hobby of making your own beer at home.  We’ll walk through the processes, equipment and ingredients used by homebrewers and what to consider when getting started.  Then the group will help brew a batch of beer up to the point where the yeast is added and fermentation begins. If you have ever wanted to learn to brew, this 2.5 hour course will help launch you in the right direction for success. (Please note: Students deciding to brew at home to complete the process and taste their creation may purchase a kit commercially for approximately $60.00.)
