Refund Policy: Adult Enrichment, Alternative Diploma, and Workforce Development Classes
How to Enroll
BY MAIL: Complete the registration form. Please print clearly and provide all the information requested on the form to insure quick processing of your registration. Be sure to include your credit card number with expiration date, or a check or money order payable to: Keene School District. Mail to: Community Education, 227 MAPLE AVE., Keene, NH 03431. Full payment must accompany registration form. You are automatically enrolled upon receipt of your check unless notified to the contrary. If you would like a receipt or confirmation, please enclose a stamped, self-addressed envelope with your registration. Click here to download the registration form.
In person (on indicated date respective to that program): The Community Education day office is located at 227 Maple Ave. in Keene (Jonathan Daniels Building). Hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM. to 3:30 PM. and Friday, 9:00 AM to 12 Noon.
By telephone : Registrations will be accepted by phone only if you are using Master Card or Visa (603-357-0088).
By Fax : Our fax number is 603-357-9070. Please print Mastercard or Visa number and expiration date clearly.
Web: Preferred method if on-line registration is available for the program/course you would like, you can complete the registration form and submit it on-line. The registration page may also be printed then mailed or faxed to us according to the guidelines listed above. Your credit card will automatically be charged if Community Education has verified seat availability in your chosen class.
Refund policy: Please read prior to enrolling
Choose your course or workshop carefully. Community Education workshops and courses listed are self-funded. There will be NO exceptions to the policies stated below:
- Workshop (Class that meets one to three times): NO refund unless the workshop is cancelled by Community Education.
- Course (Class that meets four or more times): FULL refund will be issued if a course is cancelled by Community Education. A refund (less a cancellation fee) will be granted if a request is made 24 hours before the first class meeting.
- Cancellations for classes with a Monday start date must be received by noon on the Friday before. NO refunds will be granted after that period.
- Refund checks will be mailed from the Community Education Office. A $10.00 cancellation fee will be assessed for each course cancelled by the participant.
Community Education reserves the right to make necessary changes in instructors and class size without prior notification to participants.
Pre-registration is required for all classes! REGISTER EARLY to avoid disappointment!
Age/Residency
Anyone 18 or older, resident and non-resident, may attend the classes. (Alternative Diploma Program, ABE & Adult Tutorial Program 16 or older.) Students who are 16 & 17 may enroll in the enrichment courses with the permission of the Director of Community Education and a signed student/parent contract. We are unable to accept children under the age of 16 (unless the class is specifically designed and advertised as parent & child combined participation).
Keene Community Education class closing information:
If Keene School District cancels school in the morning or they have early dismissal due to inclement weather, then Keene Community Education will NOT hold classes and are unable to call every participant. For classes that meet more than once, the class will be extended or a makeup class arranged with your instructor. Announcements will be made over local radio stations and their websites, WMUR Ch. 9 will list it at the bottom of the screen and on their website, or you may call our daytime phone system at 603-357-0088 and check for a prerecorded message alert.
